Painting

Paint a RC car body with painting Tamiya PS requires some specific steps to ensure that the work is well done and to obtain the best possible result. Here is a step by step guide:

1. Preparation of the body: Before you start painting, it is important to prepare the bodywork well. This includes cleaning the surface with soapy water to remove any dirt or oil. After cleaning, let the body dry completely.

2. Masking: Use masking tape to cover the parts of the body that you don't want to paint. This can be particularly important if you plan to use several colors or if you want to create a specific design.

3. Application of painting: Apply the paint only by inside the body to give it a shiny appearance by transparency with the Lexan. Shake the paint can Tamiya PS before applying it. Keep the can about 30 cm from the surface and apply the paint in thin standard layers. It is generally preferable to apply several thin layers rather than a single thick layer to obtain a smooth and uniform finish.

4. Drying: Let the paint dry completely between each layer. The drying time can vary depending on the temperature and humidity, but it is generally recommended to let the paint dry for at least 24 hours before applying another layer.

5. Removal of the masking: Once all the layers of paint have been applied and are completely dry, gently remove the masking tape.

6. Finish: After removing the masking tape, check the body to make sure that the painting is well applied and that there are no faults. All you have to do is remove the external protective film and discover the shine of your bodywork

Do not forget, it is always better to work in a well -ventilated place when using paint aerosols for safety and health.
